Local clinic sees incredible results with Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy.
Pro Active Manchester’s PEMF therapy is offering promising results for people with Parkinson’s who are looking to manage their symptoms.
PEMF is not a cure for Parkinson’s, however early results from clients living with Parkinson’s demonstrates its potential in helping to reduce the symptoms and improve quality of life.
Tony, one of Pro Active’s clients, is one of those that has experienced improvements after just three PEMF sessions.
Tony had been struggling with a lack of sensation on one side of his body, as well as other Parkinson’s symptoms.
After his treatment Tony regained sensation on his left-hand side, which is something he hasn’t felt in ten years.
Tony told Pro Active: “I’ve not felt this healthy in years, I honestly feel like I’ve turned a corner. After just three sessions, I can feel the difference in my body. I can’t express enough how much this has changed the way I feel. It’s given me hope again.”
Whilst PEMF is not a cure, it is a non-invasive way of helping to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms, providing relief from muscle rigidity, tremors and joint pain, which are common challenges Parkinson’s patients face.
Vanessa Lloyd, lead practitioner at Pro Active said: “I’m thrilled with the improvements we’re seeing in clients like Tony. While we’re not promising long-term results, the positive impact on his symptoms immediately after each session has been astonishing.
“Another client of ours with Parkinson’s immediately stopped having tremors. We both cried when he got off the PEMF bed. I’m as delighted as the clients are when I see the difference it makes to them.”
Dr John Morgan, advocate for Pro Active, added: “It’s cutting-edge technology and therapies, like PEMF, which can make all the difference.
“Small improvements often can make the biggest transformation to a patient’s quality of life.”
Pro Active Manchester is excited to continue helping the local Parkinson’s community.
