 
                            Police are appealing for help to find a Good Samaritan who intervened when a woman was being threatened in New Mills.
The incident happened on Friday 4 October between 10-11am on Mellor Road, with the victim unable to thank the man who helped her before he left the scene.
The Derbyshire Constabulary has asked that if anybody knows who de-escalated the situation should contact the force, quoting reference 24*592652:
