Mora & The Fabulous Wonderfuls

From Monday May 12th onwards, band of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight feature are Mora and The Fabulous Wonderfuls. Born to a known and respected musical family, Mora was always destined to be a performer who makes the ground shake. A force of nature compelled by unknown energies to relay her sonic message, she gathered around herself a troupe of quakingly talented musicians who could match her innate power. Together the band describe their music as 'A unique blend of righteous anger and soul-lifting songs to channel the pain and rage of this crushing existence into a communal connection, sending audience spirits soaring, ready to face the next sunrise reborn with dazzling sparks of defiance and empathy'. Singles released so far include 'Bring Me Fire', 'Tool', 'Can See You', and 'Eyes Are Open', and can be found on Spotify. Mora and The Fabulous Wonderfuls are also one of the bands who will be playing live at our next Indie Rock n Roll Local Music Spotlight Live night at Whittles at Tokyo Live Music Venue in Oldham on Friday August 8th.
