Arundhati Mukherjee

Meet Arundhati Mukherjee, or simply Aru - a passionate journalist and a cheeky mum of two cute monsters.

Originally from India, having travelled and lived in many parts of the world, this former cabin crew has set roots in Greater Manchester since 2015.

Aru found her calling in journalism, earning a post-graduate degree and predominantly working with South Asian media in the UK for the last three years.

Currently diving into UK media law, she loves exploring global cultures, arts, international politics, and human-interest stories.

A spoken word artist, Aru’s guilty pleasures include crime fiction, fish and chips, and chocolate brownies. You’ll hear her often interviewing or reading news on Tameside Radio.

A people person, her favourite part of working with Quest Media is exploring the heart of Tameside, Oldham and Glossop.
