Willow Bank Residential Home get creative for Ukraine

The residents and friends of Willow Bank Residential home in Hadfield have been working with their Activities Coordinator to put together Christmas shoeboxes for the children of Ukraine.

Boxes have been packed with gifts, winter accessories and treats for children aged 2 to 14 years old.

They started this as part of the Remembrance reflection week for WW2, the residents wanted to help people in need at this time of the year. They hope to send joy to the children who are suffering in the war at Christmas time, to bring a smile to a child's face means everything to the residents who have really enjoyed supporting the charity.

Willow Bank were introduced to One Project Ukraine by Paramedic and trainer Val Cochrane who is a friend of Willow Bank,  delivering the shoe boxes alongside an ambulance and medical equipment this coming week.

Good luck Val and have a safe journey !
