Pennine Mencap Summer Fayre - Spectacular Family Fun for All

Pennine Mencap’s third Summer Fayre is soon approaching, with an array of eye-catching ingredients to make a family day out that everyone can enjoy.

This is a celebratory occasion where independent businesses, captivating performers, and the charity’s team of volunteers, staff, and service users collaborate to raise funds in support of Pennine Mencap's work. From ‘prize every time’ stalls, homemade artisan jewellery and their Grand Raffle with an incredible line-up of prizes, this is an event for all ages. The inclusive environment is always a wonderful opportunity for everyone in the community to come together and have a marvellous day out.

Pennine Mencap is a charity that supports people in the local community with learning disabilities and other complex needs, making a positive impact on their everyday lives. A local day out where you can purchase one-of-a-kind crafts, let the kids have a wild time with their face painting, or take part in the tombola and Grand Raffle. Running from 12 pm-3 pm, families can come down for a few hours and guarantee there is a stall for everyone.

The charity’s past Summer Fayres have been a huge success within the community. Pennine Mencap are aiming for even more interactive parts of the Fayre to make this the best yet. The focus on filling every part of the Hurst Community Centre with amazing entertainment, makers, crafters, games, and raffles aims to provide a family outing that everyone can enjoy and participate in.
